Conflict and Compassion
An Afternoon of History and Music Linking St
Mary's Anglican Church with The Great War
Sharing the story in words, poetry and music in tribute to
pioneering Brisbane women at the front during World War I.
Talk presented by Alison Cotes, writer and reviewer, and St
Mary's musicians, Dr Phillip Gearing (organ, piano) and Lyn
Time: 2pm - 4:30pm
Cost: $10 (adults) includes performance and afternoon tea
Saturday 16 May - Little Fishes Playgroup Fundraiser -
Commencing at 3pm. Jazz and wine on St Mary's lawn.
Saturday May 23 - The Annual Trivia Night - 7pm for
Cost: $10 per head, max 8 players per table. Fun games dring the
night @ $2 per play. Where: St Mary's Hall. Prize for best themed
