The Four Elements

4elementsBAR

THE FOUR ELEMENTS bring together some of Australia's most outstanding contemporary baroque musicians into one electrifying ensemble.

The combination oboe - violin - cello - harpsichord enables the ensemble to play a vast range of Baroque Trios and concerto arrangements, as well as the providing the opportunity to weave solo works into the concert fabric. Although the primamry focus is the Baroque period, concerts goers can also expect other genres to appear in the ensemble's programmes.

Since its formation in 2009, The Four Elements has performed at the Tyalgum Festival, The Chamber Music Series (Brisbane), Music at St Mary's, the University of Qld and the Byron Music Society. In 2012 the ensemble will perform in collaboration with Queensland Ballet and choreographer Gareth Belling at QPAC's Cremorne Theatre and at the Bangalow Music Festival and the Brisbane Chamber Music Series.
