Palm Sunday commemorates Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, marked by crowds waving palm branches. It heralds the beginning of Holy Week in the Christian calendar.
Due to the Interntional Women’s Day Fun Run we will have a change to our 9am service.
Instead of a 9am Eucharist on that Sunday, there will be a service at 4pm, followed by an optional dinner at the Pineapple Hotel.

The Royal Australian Navy Band will feature at a free concert on the lawn at St Mary’s Anglican Church Kangaroo Point on Sun 24 Sep 2023 from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. The concert is to promote the QLD Heritage listed precinct of St Mary’s within the Kangaroo Point community in its 150th year, and its long and close association with the Royal Australian Navy since pre-federation days. All are welcome, especially the citizens of Kangaroo Point who reside so close to this historical area.
Aside from a broad repertoire of music from the Royal Australian Navy Band’s ensembles, there will be a sausage sizzle and refreshments available to purchase with proceeds going to precinct’s buildingsrestoration and maintenance.
Limited parking is available on site, but parking is also available in the streets and paid carparks nearby.
Bring a picnic chair or a rug (and a picnic basket if you wish) to sit on the lawn and enjoy good live music and a picturesque sunset over the city in a truly historical environment.

This year's Riverfire we will be offering car spaces for Parishioners and their family and friends.
Bookings can be made through the Church office. As in previous years, you are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy the fireworks.
Cost is $50 per car.
